This charming hotel suits me perfectly with its excellent wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and cozy lounge area. I still remember on my first stay, the staff kindly offered me a cold drink in the heat. Highly recommend for a romantic escape!

Very welcoming and comfortable. Very helpful, courteous and pleasant staff. Enjoyed breakfast with good quality ingredients.
I expected toiletries (soap, shower gel, etc) to be replenished each day

The hotel was fairly clean and fairly large. The breakfast had good choice of fresh options, and was plentiful and very very good. The room we had was wonderful and delightful and complete with couch, comfortable bed and the bedroom...

Excellent location within easy walking distance of Louvre, Metro, other sights, dining and shopping. Comfortable pillows, spacious room (for Paris), and extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff. Also, be aware that at least some of the standard double rooms and windows face inward toward the hotel lobby/courtyard where guests walk by. It was very quiet and we did not have any problems but I could see noise possibly being an issue in these rooms if a louder group of guests happened to be staying there at the same time as the rooms are soundproofed but it appeared the windows were not.
Bathroom in standard double room could use a sprucing up but it was nothing that detracted from our visit.

Cafe de flore is just right on the corner! Excellent location, small but unique. The room is much better than other boutique hotels I stayed before, there is still room after I lay out 2 large suitcases. I stayed in a single room. Very fare for the price. Also, nice breakfast, included in the package, simple but all u need is there. Saw the pictures of other rooms. It's a sweet, compfrotable place to stay in left bank. A hotel with a history too. Hemingway stayed there. Highly recommend this lovely sweet place to stay"

Very welcoming and comfortable.
Booked the airport shuttle to depart at 7:30. I was down at the desk to check our and get a cup of coffee. Others were also checking out and as we were talking they said their car was coming at 7:40. As I was having coffee in the breakfast room I noticed that the people who were supposed to leave at 7:40 were getting in a car. I asked the person at the desk if that was our car and he said "no, go have your coffee". Then at 7:30 I asked again about our shuttle (now a different person at the desk), who called She told me it would be here momentarily. After 15 minutes, worried that we would be late for our checking in, I asked again. The attendant then called again and informed us that we had missed the airport shuttle that came earlier and no other shuttle was scheduled to come and we would have to take a taxi. We were refunded the money we paid, but the taxi cost much more and we were worried all the way of being late. Both the attendants had no idea what was going on that morning and seemed harried and out if control.

Wonderful staff, very handsome decorations, excellent breakfast..
The electrical system in our first room wasn't working properly--had a hard time charging things--laptop, phone, shaver, &C. Every morning at 7.00 the Paris garbage collectors came down the narrow street, making a lot of noise--but of course that's not the hotel's fault.

Location, helpfulness of the staff, enjoyed the people who also stayed there, having breakfast provided with the hotel, the history and very "Frenchness" of the hotel.

beautiful old Parisian hotel, charming courtyard garden, variety of breakfast options
Our room lacked modern amenities like air conditioning and convenient plug sockets!!! Frequent requests were necessary for basic toiletries that should have been replenished regularly!!!
